Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts electronically through the Journal's online submission system. The submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished work not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the journal's template and formatting guidelines. A detailed template is available for download.

Article Template

The official manuscript template will be provided by the journal management after the editorial format and publication requirements have been finalized.

Submission Process

All submissions are processed through the OJS workflow. Authors must register an account and log in prior to submitting their paper. After logging in, select "Make a Submission" and follow the 5-step submission process.

Peer Review (Summary)

This journal operates a double-blind peer review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper.

Publication Ethics (Summary)

UJM is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. Plagiarism, data fabrication, and image manipulation are not tolerated.
